Gmail support email analysis with read-only synchronization

Shared support inboxes often contain valuable demand signals but limited reporting structure. ReplyPilot uses read-only Gmail access to bring relevant messages into a normalized analysis workflow without claiming the ability to send or modify email.

Read-only connection

The Gmail integration uses OAuth with read-only access. It retrieves messages for analysis but does not send replies, change labels, delete email, or modify the source inbox.

Normalized support evidence

Email subject, body, source time, and stable identifiers become normalized support messages. Repeated synchronization uses stored state and deduplication so previously imported email does not become new demand.

  • Manual and scheduled sync
  • Fetched and inserted counts
  • Automatic analysis after new data
  • No report when a sync contains only duplicates

From email volume to action

The resulting report groups specific customer needs, identifies risky cases, and proposes reviewed FAQs, macros, handoff rules, and drafts. Exports remain separate from Gmail because the integration is intentionally read-only.

Data handling

Email can contain personal and account information. Limit the connected inbox and imported history to what is required, avoid unnecessary sensitive fields, encrypt refresh tokens, and use workspace deletion when the pilot ends.
